Gretchen Williamson
Founder/ Director/ President
Gretchen Williamson founded Packing Hope in the fall of 2020. She is a lifelong Boone County resident, a Registered Nurse, and a Boone County CASA volunteer, with a deep commitment to supporting children and families impacted by foster care and adoption.
As a former foster parent and now an adoptive mom of four, Gretchen understands firsthand how critical practical resources and relational support are during times of transition. Packing Hope was created from that lived experience — to ensure families know they are not alone and have access to help when it matters most.
Gretchen is married to her husband, Brandon, and together they are raising four boys. Outside of Packing Hope, she enjoys cheering on her children at local sporting events and spending quiet time at home with a good book and her dog, Teddy.
